Learning for fun workshops are for those riders who want to learn with a class.  You can watch others perform the movement,  if you are a visual learner, you can get your horse use to working around others in non stressful enviroment.   It's less expensive and a fun outing for you and your horse.  A way to meet like souls.   Unlike a group lesson,   I will be giving theory, aids, home work and a methodical way to communicate to your horse what you want from him.   Classes are $25.00 for DMDP members and $30.00 for non-members.   I am also available to do these programs at your barn, private treaty.

Class 1.   The first workshop will be on the Half Halt!   Aids, body position (the seat) and response.   Exercises to develolp the horse's resonse and strenth.  Good for any discipline of riding.  (Hint:  If you cannot get your horse to stop and rein back without pulling no the rein, you need this class)

Class 2.  Learn the methodical process to develop the movements.  Turn on the forehand, shoulder-fore, leg yield, shoulder-in, traver, renver, turn onn the haunches.  AND in that order.  if you have to hold your horse back to do any lateral movement, you need a half halt.  (see Class 1)

Quadrille.   This is all about the fun!   Ride with the same level of riders.  Learn the Quadrille language and become a team.   This class requires commitment, your fellow riders depend on you.  This will only happen if we can have at least four commited souls of same level.  Contact me on the Contact page and let me know if you are interested and what level and I will put you on the list, when we have enough, I will contact you.  Each practice will be $20. for use of arena and a ground person to direct, and music.  Group decides how often they would like to meet.  Of course you are allowed to practice at other places.

Class 3.  Learn the figures/follow the leader.  Ever wonder how to  exactly ride the..half circle reverse, chane through the circle, how to make the perfect centrline, serpentine, circles?   Ride behind the leader throuh cones as i tell you how to prepare the horse for accurate figures.   This is no only ood for showing, when you train at home, if you cannot make your figure correct, the figure is actually showing you what you need.   For example, circle too small, needs more inside leg.  Circle too large, needs more outside leg.  Missed your turn, needs a half-halt (see Class 1)  Horse won't move over from either inside or outside leg, (See Class 2)
