To recap last years educational programs:
Half Halt Workshop: We learned what the horse brought to the table with their confirmation, strength and understanding of the aids.
The Winter Riding Program taught us how to ride precise dressage figures, how riding precisely helps the rider understand their horses strengths and weakness' in their training.
The Rider Awareness phase we learned what the rider brings to the table with negative tension in their bodies, breathing correctly and correct execution of the aids.
Quadrille: Helps the rider learn to ride from the breeches! You have to continue to ride your horse all while keeping an eye on your quadrille placement, four other riders.
FOR 2026 Learning for Fun will bring more pleasure to your riding with classes and functions that teach and entertain.
March 14, 2026 Gymnastics for Building the Horse's core strength. With the use of exercises and caveletti. Riders and Auditors $50.00.
Every Tuesday of the month, starting March 24 thru June we will have a Tuesday evening ride at 7:00 for the horses to learn to ride with others. Riders horses will need to be showing level, WTC, no green horses please. We will learn to ride with Arena etiquette, how to pass, what gaits get priority, the do's and don'ts of riding in traffic. Other wise you will ride your level as if preparing to show. Great for those who home school and the horse (or rider) who gets nervous when riding with traffic. $20.00 Need to sign Release form before mounting. 1 hour ride, no lungeing in arena, ask where to lunge please. Limit to 8 horses, much like a show warm up arena, so will need to reserve a spot or call before coming to see if there is room.
Dinner and a Dance: Once a month if enough people are interested, we will have a group ride together with music in the background and then have dinner together after the ride. Pot luck, bring a dish and enjoy the company of other like minded folks. Starting in April when the weather is nice. $20.00
